Since tomorrow's my mother's birthday, I thought I'd go to a flower shop to pick out some flowers for her as a little present. I was planning on getting her a new purse, but since I know how much she adores plants why not get her some new ones as well. I've never been one to feel the need to plant things, but as I've gotten older I've learned to appreciate nature and the small things it brings. I recently bought a Bonsai tree and I really love the vibe it brings when I step into my room. Admiring the small beauties of life is somewhat of a challenge when you focus too much on the negative aspects of life instead of the simplicity of the day to day treasures.
